The European COREnet project has created a pan-European network of agricultural advisors that aims to inform and exchange views and experiences on short food supply chains. The target is to educate agricultural advisors and to disseminate innovative practices and solutions aimed at supporting producers to market their products directly to consumers. The establishment of an effective system for disseminating results and knowledge from Horizon projects should ideally begin with the creation of an AKIS network. In our Shield4Grape project, where we lead WP5, we have taken this a step further by setting up thematic AKIS networks, specifically for the grapevine sector (otherwise known as micro-AKIS networks).

On 19 December 2024, the producers of the Agricultural Cooperative of Stavies were informed about the results of the DACO-TECH Operational Group and how the innovative information system for the monitoring of bait spraying works. During the workshop, speeches were given by members of the Hellenic Mediterranean University (ELMEPA) and ELGO-DIMITRA on olive fly biology, practices for the control of the insect and the effectiveness of the project’s activities.

The platform of the information system was presented live, allowing the full monitoring of the quantity of sprayed bait by the cooperatives’ crew, the tractor’s itinerary and the geographical depiction of all spayed trees. The workshop was attended by 30 participants including producers, advisors, agronomists and other interested parties.

The event will be attended by representatives of various M16 Operational Groups and the Flagship Action “Innovative Plant Protection”, where they will present the results of their projects.

Our digital platform Schemis is now one of the web applications certified by the Greek payment authority for use in eco-schemes. Our platform has been designed to meet the requirements linked with the application of eco-schemes and provides a detailed farm diary that records and links all the farming activities in an integrated management plan.

SCHEMIS can be used by both farmers and advisors providing:

• Management of farm advices that are registered by agricultural advisors
• Environmental Management Scheme linking all farm activities in an integrated management plan
• Complete electronic farm diary based on recorded farm practices
• Nutrient balance sheets

Following the implementation of the EIP-AGRI Operational Group ZeroTuta an informative session will be held at the premises of the Agricultural Cooperative of Tympaki, on Wednesday 19th of June 2024. Farmers, agricultural advisors and other interested stakeholders are invited to join and learn about the results of our OG.

AGRENAOS has participated in the EU CAP Network conference “EIP-AGRI Operational Groups: Innovation in practice” in Portugal, from 6 May to 8 May 2024. The conference was organised in combination with the ‘EIP-AGRI Innovation Awards’. More than 550 participants presented the results from their OGs from all EU member states. Our company participated with two OGs (ZERO TUTA & Daco-TECH) and was active in the workshops of the conference by presenting our opinions for better coordination between partners and more active dissemination of results in the farming sector.

AGRENAOS will participate as a connected partner and a Key National Contact Point for the project CORENET aiming to disseminate available know-how regarding advisory services for the short food supply chain. The project will evaluate and describe the effect of the advisory services related to the establishment of short food supply chains and will identify exeptional case studies as golden cases aiming to disseminate their key elements of success.
