The establishment of an effective system for disseminating results and knowledge from Horizon projects should ideally begin with the creation of an AKIS network. In our Shield4Grape project, where we lead WP5, we have taken this a step further by setting up thematic AKIS networks, specifically for the grapevine sector (otherwise known as micro-AKIS networks).

The concept is straightforward: rather than involving every single AKIS actor, our project focuses on those directly involved in viticulture. As a result, we have created a database in all participating countries that includes the names and contact information of farmer’s groups, advisors, researchers, Operational groups, grape breeders, wineries, and agri-media. This database provides a solid foundation for disseminating our results, ensuring that they reach the end-users who have a particular interest in them!
