Our work

AGRENAOS has supported producers in various regions of Greece to set up new agricultural cooperatives by rallying, informing and organising them. Our services include the preparation of all the administrative and technical documents that are required for the recognition of the collective scheme as well as the drafting of a business plan including a set of activties that farmers can implement during the next 5 years. AGRENAOS participated as a national expert in the study for the evaluation of the support schemes for the Small Aegean Islands granted to farmers for the period 2014-20. The study was coordinated by Agrosynergie on behalf of the European Commission, while the evaluation of the scheme in Greece was carried out by AGRENAOS on the basis of questionnaires and a literature review.

For the period 2021-2022 AGRENAOS supported the implementation of the Operational Programme of Producer Organizations of olive oil farmers in Messinia providing advisory services regarding the following topics:

For the period 2021-2022 AGRENAOS supported the implementation of the Operational Programme of the Producer Organization of olive oil farmers in Agia Paraskevi, Lesvos providing advisory services regarding the following topics:

• sustainable management of soil,
• integrated management and certification of olive oil production
• training of farmers for innovative and sustainable agronomic practices,
• certification of management systems according to international standards for traceability (ISO 22005:2005) and food safety (ISO 22000:2018),
• comminication and dissemination activities

Development of an online innovative platform to support agricultural consultants for applying for support under the Young Farmers measure of the Rural Development Program.

Setting up a Producer Organization in the sheep and goat milk sector in the island of ​​Lesvos. Management of their operational program under the framework of measure 9 of the Rural Development Program.

Setting up a Producer Organization in the olive oil sector in the region of Crete. Management of their operational program for the 2015-2018 period with the aim of implementing actions for olive growers, olive oil infrastructure and the promotion of their activities.

Implementation of an investment program within the framework of Measure 19 (Leader activities) with the aim of modernizing an olive mill and installing energy-saving and renewable energy equipment.
