Participation in the program “Greenhouse cultivation techniques”

During the second week of November, the first pilot program on “Greenhouse Cultivation Techniques” was held in Kyparissia, co-organized by ELGO-DIMITRA and the Eugenidιο Foundation. Twenty-five professionals from the primary sector specializing in greenhouse cultivation participated, including two agricultural advisors from our company, Christos Lymperopoulos and Athanasia Tzanetou.

The program included three days of theoretical training at the “Dimitra” Center in Kyparissia, where topics such as the energy efficiency and sustainability of greenhouses, their construction, hydroponic systems, and the integrated management of various greenhouse crops. This was followed by two days of practical training, which included visits to modern hydroponic greenhouse vegetable cultivation units in the area.

At the closing ceremony, an honorary plaque was awarded to Antonios Paraskevopoulos, agronomist and head of the Trifylias Agricultural Development Office, for his long-standing contribution to agricultural training and the strengthening of the primary sector.
