Training sessions for olive producers in the area of Messinia.

An intensive, three-day training, of olive producers in Messinia was organised by Agrenaos, in cooperation with the Agricultural Cooperatives of Mouzaki, Nilea and Ampelofito that are seated in the area.

The training of the producers focused on topics related to fertilization, pruning, implementing models of Sustainable Olive Management and harvesting under the guidance of Dr. Ioannis Metzidakis, research agronomist and former director of the National Research Institute of Chania.

The theoretical education was combined with practical training at demonstrational farms were innovative and sustainable practices were demonstrated to members of the Producer Organizations.
