Report on Enhancing EU AKISs “From knowledge to impact” is now published

The SCAR-AKIS Working Group report on the AKIS system for the 2023–2026 period has been published, with AGRENAOS actively contributing to the sections on agricultural advisory services, on-farm demonstrations, and thematic knowledge hubs.

The study brings together and summarizes almost four years of discussions, exchanges and collaborative work on some of the always-relevant topics for strengthening knowledge and innovation flows towards a more productive, resilient and innovative European agricultural sector. From reinforcing agricultural advisory services as key catalysts for transferring, interpreting and applying novel practices and technologies, to promoting on-farm demonstrations and lifelong learning for more effective knowledge exchange or the role of thematic knowledge hubs and multi-actor approaches to increasing the impact and uptake of agricultural research, the report addresses many of the key components of a well-functioning AKIS.
