7th Roadshow of CORENET project organised in Crete

On the 16-18 June 2026, AGRENAOS, as the National Contact Point for Greece, organised the 7th European Road Show of the COREnet project in Heraklion, Crete. The two-day event focused on Short Food Supply Chains (SFSCs), multifunctional agriculture, and the role of the COREnet network in supporting their development. The first day included visits to two successful SFSC initiatives in Crete (Peskesi Restaurant and Drakos Garakis Winery) followed by the webinar “The Role of Short Food Supply Chains into changing our food systems and strengthening the farmers’ position in value chains“, organised in collaboration with the CAP4YOU Project and attended by over 100 agricultural advisors from Greece and the EU.

On the second day, participants attended the workshop “How Can Multifunctional Agriculture Support Short Food Supply Chains“, where they explored good practices from Belgium, Greece, and Cyprus, as well as opportunities for the development and certification of multifunctional farms.
